Winter gets us all a little down and antsy, spending our days dreaming of warmer days on the water, so come join us on the first Thursday of every month from November through April at Mountain Humane in the Mari & Thomas Lowe Conference Room to spend an evening tying flies with old and new friends.The pattern for this class will be a Water Walker or Dancin Ricky Golden Stone.

New for 2024: Materials and tools will be provided - just show up! Thanks to Renzetti, Griffin Enterprises, and Loon, we are able to provide vises and tools for every single person who attends in addition to fly tying materials needed for the night’s pattern.

There will not be food or drinks provided at this event, but feel free to BYOB and snacks!

Gannett Rd. & Kilpatrick Bridge Road Cleanup

Join us for a rewarding day of teamwork and community spirit as we come together to clean up our sponsored section of Gannett Rd. Every piece of litter picked up helps protect our environment and make our community shine. We will meet at 10:00 AM at the intersection of Gannett Rd. & Labrador Ln. to cleanup our Gannett Rd. section of road. We will have a table set up - you can’t miss us!

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes (you may get a bit dirty!)

  • A reusable water bottle.

What to Expect:

  • Meet at the designated meeting point for a quick orientation and supply distribution.
